Description
The double-sided adhesive tape consists of a rigid PVC film backing coated on both sides with an acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive that has very good resistance to UV radiation, temperature stress, chemicals and solvents, and moisture. The high-shear pressure-sensitive adhesive features excellent permanent adhesion to metal, paint and high-energy plastic surfaces and good permanent adhesion to low-energy surfaces. Due to the high mass application also suitable for rough or structured surfaces.
Application areas
Bonding of car and truck exterior mirrors in plastic housings with simultaneous splinter protection. Self-adhesive finishing of type, performance and information signs as well as extruded plastic sheathing profiles for permanent final assembly in the furniture industry, assembly of decorative parts, doublings and muntins on a wide variety of surfaces. Fastening of bezels and holders in the phono-, household appliance- and electrical industry.
