tesa®60400 is a bio-based packaging tape suitable for medium-weight packaging applications (15 – 30 kg).
Polylactic acid, also known as PLA, was chosen as the backing material for this adhesive tape.
PLA is made from 100% renewable raw materials such as corn starch, tapioca roots or sugar cane.
The system adhesive used for this tape is a natural rubber with a natural-based resin.
Thanks to the intelligent selection of raw materials and outstanding design, tesa®60400 is produced with a biocarbon content of
