Product Description
tesa®60400 is a bio-based packaging tape suitable for medium-duty packaging applications (15–30 kg). Polylactic acid, also known as PLA, was chosen as the backing material for this tape. PLA is made from 100% renewable raw materials such as cornstarch, tapioca roots, or sugarcane. The adhesive system used for this tape consists of natural rubber combined with a naturally derived resin. Thanks to the smart selection of raw materials and its outstanding design, tesa®60400 is manufactured with a bio-carbon content of 98%, resulting in a reduced carbon footprint.
