CHR® HM350 is manufactured from a modified high modulus PTFE film coated with a silicone adhesive resistant to very high service temperatures.
Functions/benefits
The PTFE film is subjected to a special treatment that reduces elongation and increases breaking strength to facilitate handling. One side is coated with an acrylic/
silicone pressure sensitive adhesive coated and the other side has a thin PTFE film with good conformability and low coefficient of friction. The PTFE carrier
offers excellent heat resistance and is chemically inert. The tape is weatherproof, stable and non-toxic.
CHR® HM350 and HM426 can be ordered to MIL-I-23594C Type 1, Class 1 specification. CHR HM352 has the same
physical properties as HM350, but has been subjected to a special treatment that enables bonding.
Application areas
CHR HM350 and HM426 are frequently used as cover tapes in metal bonding, for covering rollers on plastic extruders
and used for fine wiring harnesses.
