Carpet tape

Carpet adhesive tape, sometimes also called installation tape, is a strong double-sided adhesive tape with excellent adhesive strength. It is used to securely bond carpets and other floor coverings to the subfloor. Carpet tape is used in both private households and larger businesses. In this context, tradespeople and moving companies in particular purchase installation tape or similar products to secure carpets and other floor coverings and thereby prevent the risk of accidents.

The advantages of carpet tape

Carpet tape is suitable for all carpets and PVC floor coverings and can be removed without leaving residue or causing damage—regardless of how strong the adhesive strength is or how thick the tape is. This extra-strong adhesive tape adheres to almost all indoor surfaces, such as tile, marble, vinyl, and other smooth surfaces. Installing the carpet tape is easy. After applying it to the surface, the carpet tape can be torn by hand. Then, peel off the protective plastic film from the adhesive backing and lay down the flooring you want to secure.
