Description
3M™ Elastic Polyurethane Tape 9343 is specifically designed to reduce noise, vibration, squeaks and rattles in vehicle interiors. The materials currently available for these applications, such as flocked fabric and/or felts, are not elastic, limiting their use on flat surfaces. The unique microfiber fleece backing offers a combination of conformability, elasticity, compressibility and durability.
Properties
The 9343 adhesive tape can easily be used on irregular surfaces and to insulate adjoining parts. In addition, due to the acrylate adhesive, the tape is extremely powerful with a long service life.
Applications
– Noise insulation inside the vehicle, e.g. insulation of adjacent components in the dashboard and trim areas
– Prevention of wear on adjacent parts
