Description
tesa® 58290 is a transparent adhesive tape consisting of a PET carrier and an adhesive mass made of modified acrylate. It is characterized by excellent aging resistance under different climatic conditions. This includes high and low temperatures as well as high humidity. tesa® 58290 has very good initial tack and strong final adhesion, especially on rough surfaces such as MDF or HDF boards.
Longitudinal tear strength is advantageous for furniture back splice applications. The PET carrier redirects a possible crack in the transverse direction, thus ensuring a stable and secure connection while maintaining low thickness and high flexibility.
tesa® 58290 is ideal for use in automatic and semi-automatic dispensers and is available in long lengths (up to 660m) especially for this purpose.
