Description
The strong adhesive, being a modified acrylate, provides a good balance of adhesion and cohesion. It is suitable for bonding rough and textured surfaces, plastics, textiles as well as nonwovens. The removable adhesive provides a good level of tack and shear.
Relink 2318B is an AIRBUS approved double-sided tape designed for bonding aircraft carpeting to the floor covering. ReLink 2318B has a differential adhesive system – one side with very high tack to adhere to carpet, and one side that is cleanly peelable to adhere to the aircraft floor panel.
This product has been qualified in accordance with AIMS 10-05-014 and can be procured in accordance with ABS 5648B. The Airbus consumables list number is: CML # 08-118
