Description
The 3M™ VHB™ high performance tapes are double-sided tapes made of closed cell acrylic adhesive such as the 3M™ 4945. They offer very high adaptability to the surfaces to be bonded. Smooth or textured surfaces can be bonded over the entire surface without tension.
Properties
The high dynamic load absorption of the adhesive tape reduces vibrations and shocks. In doing so, it creates a permanent seal against water and moisture. In addition, 4945 tape has excellent temperature resistance when bonding metal parts before painting.
