3M™ Elastic Polyurethane Tape 9343 is specifically designed to reduce noise, vibration, squeaks and rattles in vehicle interiors. The materials currently available for these applications, such as flocked fabric and/or felts, are not elastic, limiting their use on flat surfaces. The unique microfiber fleece backing offers a combination of conformability, elasticity, compressibility and durability.
Features
The 9343 tape can easily be used on irregular surfaces and to insulate adjacent parts. In addition, due to the acrylate adhesive, the tape is extremely powerful with a long service life.
Applications
– Noise insulation inside the vehicle, e.g. Insulation of adjacent components in the area of the dashboard and trim strips
– Wear prevention of adjacent parts
