Description
Norseal® 5041 is a high density closed cell PVC foam.
Norseal 5041 is a foam with high internal hardness, making it ideal for use as a bumper and vibration damper. Its strength and high suspension force are extremely
useful in punching applications. To ensure adequate sealing, the foam must be compressed by at least 30% in the final joint. After application, the foam can compensate for the normal movements of the joint caused by thermal volume expansion or environmental influences.
Norseal 5041 is a single-sided adhesive sealing foam with a water-soluble acrylic adhesive and must therefore be applied to clean, dry surfaces.
Flame retardant design
Norseal 5040 foam is B1 certified (DIN 4102-01, 05/98).
