The 3M\u2122 Damping Film 2552 consists of pure, high quality aluminum as a backing material and viscoelastic vibration damping acrylic adhesive. The combination of viscoelastic acrylic adhesive with the back reinforcement by the aluminum foil provides an excellent opportunity to reduce noise and vibration. 3M Self-Adhesive Damping Film 2552 is specially designed for metal surfaces so that when properly applied, resonant vibrations are affected and vibration energy is converted into minor heat with the help of viscoelastic adhesive.<\/p>\n

Properties
