The 3M\u2122 8905 Polyester Tape is the thickest tape in the 8900 Series and is a heavy-duty polyester tape that is ideal for masking at high temperatures. The carrier is tear resistant and translucent blue for easy positioning. Coated with a silicone adhesive, this tape is ideal for masking for powder coating to create sharp color lines.<\/p>\n

Properties<\/strong>
\nThe adhesive tape 8905 is characterized by good chemical resistance and it works effectively in chemical processes and under demanding operating conditions, such as anodizing. The pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive performs well over a wide temperature range of 50\u00b0C to 204\u00b0C, and the translucent blue backing also resists tearing. It can also be removed cleanly and in one piece from most surfaces and prevents slipping and tearing.<\/p>\n
