The 3M\u2122 8953 tape consists of a backing of ScotchPro polypropylene film coated with an adhesive made from a solvent-free synthetic rubber. Thus, good abrasion resistance and moisture resistance can be achieved. Because of these properties, the tape is mainly used for securing pallets, bundling light products and sealing light cardboard boxes. At the same time, the adhesive retains its functionality at all usual temperatures during transport.<\/p>\n
