The adhesive is heat-resistant silicone and this allows the product to be used at continuous temperatures up to 260\u00b0C. It also prevents the tape from slipping after application. The tape is applied around the parts that are plasma sprayed<\/div>\n<div>should. CHR 2975 protects these surfaces during sandblasting, which is used to prepare the surfaces, and before subsequent plasma spraying.
